DSL Systems Ltd is a small innovative company which specialises in designing and installing process control systems.

Based in Nottingham, its systems are used throughout the UK and abroad in countries such as USA, Canada, France, Spain, Malta, Cyprus, UAE, Russia and Ireland. It hopes to expand into more countries in the future. It has partner companies in Canada, Ireland and The Netherlands which purchase DSL’s AutoPilot4Feed control systems, configure them up for their own customers and then install them themselves.

Most of DSL’s control systems are used for the automatic control of animal feed mills, pet food plants, flour mills and similar factories. DSL Systems has a reputation around the world for producing the best and most user friendly control systems which is why they are widely used. All the systems use Windows PCs with Microsoft Access or SQL Server database, Windows software and PC hardware. Depending on customer’s requirements, DSL uses a variety of PLCs such as Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Telemechanique, Wago, Quantum and sometimes Siemens. DSL Systems has a well earned reputation for comprehensive and well designed control systems which work well and are easy for operators to use.

We are always looking for good experienced Engineers / Technicians with hands-on experience in these or similar industries. Some electrical knowledge would be an advantage and a general knowledge of PLCs and Windows based PCs essential. Just as important is the desire to learn, to be keen to please clients and to get satisfaction from a well tuned control system. The work can be demanding but always satisfying.

Full training will be given as well as private health insurance and bonus scheme.

The work would be based in Nottingham, on sites in the UK and sometimes overseas.

Foreign languages (French or Spanish) would be an advantage but not essential.
