Software Engineer

What you’ll do
Working mainly at DSL’s head office, Software Engineers are involved in the whole software life cycle in line with the company’s ISO 9001 quality procedures. Joining an environment of innovation, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn, develop and make a real contribution. Full training on the company’s products and process will be provided.
What you’ll need
The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate strong programming skills in Microsoft Visual Studio environment. You’ll have a passion for problem solving and a conscientious and resourceful approach. You must also have strong analytical skills. A full driving licence will be required for occasional travel to customer sites.
Experience
You will be expected to develop software for the Imperium4Feed control system using the following development tools:
- C++
- MS SQL Server
- VB.Net (desirable)
Experience in the following areas would be considered advantageous:
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Process control and automation
- Communication interfaces
