We are always looking for good experienced Engineers / Technicians with hands-on experience of installing electrical control systems using PLCs in animal feed mills, pet food plants and flour mills or similar industries. An electrical background would be an advantage and a general knowledge of PLCs and Windows based PCs essential. Just as important is the desire to learn, to be keen to please clients and to get satisfaction from a well tuned control system. The work can be demanding but always satisfying. The following would also be a distinct advantage:

• Knowledge of Feed Mills and similar factories
• Foreign languages
• Familiar with Microsoft Windows problems and installation
• Electrical qualifications
• PLC programming

Process Control Project Engineers and Software Development Engineers

DSL Systems design, develop and install advanced factory automation systems worldwide. We pride ourselves in designing systems that are technically advanced and yet simple and intuitive to operate. DSL Systems are a small company with a number of blue chip clients including; Bernard Matthews, Sun Valley Feeds, BOCM PAULS, Moy Park and Effem Equine.

We are always looking for dynamic professionals with an engineering background and with experience in at least two or more of the following areas:-

• Process control systems
• Visual C/C++ Programming
• Visual Basic Programming
• SQL Server and ODBC
• Windows XP / Server PCs
• Ethernet TCP/IP networking
• SCADA / PLC Programming
• Real time software
• Crystal Reports

The work is challenging and varied with many learning opportunities. Some work is carried out at our customers premises in the UK and occasionally abroad. The role would particularly suit somebody with 2-3 years work experience following graduation from a software / computer engineering degree but is in no way limited to applicants with these credentials.
