Product Support

All DSL’s Control systems come with 12 months warranty after installation.

After this period, formal support contracts are available and 24 hour, 7 day support via a modem is offered.

All of DSL's systems are supplied with a loan modem for the 12 month warranty period and afterwards providing a support contract has been agreed. The modem plays a key part in allowing us to give the quickest support possible, it allows DSL remote functionality via the package "PC Anywhere".

To cover for hardware breakdown, most sites have a suitable level of spares and we will always recommend that sites have a working standby PC.

DSL Systems are always willing to do any modifications required; Please contact the sales department to discuss your requirements.

Training

DSL Systems provide a comprehensive range of off-site training courses for users at DSL's offices. These courses enable users to make the most of their DSL control systems and to have more control over their environment. The range of courses cover:

Operators
A 2 day course on general operation. PCs are provided which have full simulation built-in to make operation realistic. The course is fully hands-on at a suitable pace for operators.

Advanced training for Technical users
A 2 day course which covers part of general operation but also includes maintenance, calibration and tuning. If appropriate, the course briefly covers PLC and electrical connections. PCs with built-in simulation are provided.

Configurers
A 2 week practical course which covers all aspects of DSL’s control systems. At the end of the course, attendees will be able to configure most types of plant. PCs and PLCs are provided for the practical exercises.

Crystal Reports
A 2 day course on creating and modifying Crystal Reports. The course provides one PC per person and we can arrange for the exercises to be done on your actual data. Only relevant and useful exercises are done.

Operator training courses can also be arranged in-house at customers sites.
